Please find attached a list of classes that we have lined up this year so far. These classes will take place in our new, purpose built studio, housed within the Gallery here at Touched by Scotland!
Pique Assiette Mosaics Class
5th & 6th November
9.30am-4.30pm
Cost £110 + £10 materials

A two-day class in mosaics that incorporates pieces of broken ceramics - plates, dishes, cups, tiles and other found or favourite objects.
Students will learn how to create a personal work of art on slate, board or a terracotta pot. The course will teach the skills of mosaics and students can create whimsical or sentimental works of art which can incorporate favourite pieces of personal jewellery, crockery or found objects.
All materials are supplied and students can bring along favourite pieces of their own to incorporate into their design to create their own personal piece of memoryware.
Beading Class
with Colleen Gray-Taylor
Saturday 17th September
10am - 4pm
£45 + Beginners materials - £10 or Intermediate materials £15
This class is suitable for beginners and the more advanced beader.
Beginners will takle a Spiral Staircase Necklace/Bracelet. This kit includes two colours of size 11 seed beads, thread, needle and clasp.
Intermediates can try out the Double Spiral Necklace. This kit includes size 6 seed beads, two colour of size 11 seed beads and 1.8mm Cude Beads, thread, needle and clasp.
Bead Mats, extra needles, thread and Fray Check (used when joining the thread) will be also be provided.
Studentas are asked to bring along their own scissors and your glasses if you need them!
