Wallis HunterWallis Hunter, touched By Scotland

This long established jewellery maker, based in the fishing village of Carradale in south Argyll, was founded by Mike Hurst, who still rules the roost with a rod of iron (on a good day).

They produce an extensive range of essentially Scottish jewellery, with an emphasis on Celtic rings and very unusual kilt pins.

The jewel in their crown is their space age casting equipment which gives them huge versatility - and is available to other casters through their trade casting facility.

At the end of an 18-mile single-track road, they have a surprising shop, within the workshop. Which is good.
