Touched by Scotland is a relaxed, welcoming gallery selling contemporary Scottish paintings, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, wood and sculpture. The 2500 sq ft facility showcases some of the best artists from Aberdeenshire and throughout Scotland.
Touched by Scotland was established in 2003 and was originally situated in a small building next door to our new purpose built premises which opened in December 2007. The new gallery, the largest of its kind in Scotland, and adjoining restaurant, attracts visitors from all over Scotland.
We are genuinely interested in promoting traditional craft and raising awareness of the quality of handmade goods being produced in and around North East Scotland. “Touched by Scotland is a truly different shopping experience where you will find things that you just can’t find anywhere else…and nothing that you will find everywhere else; and that goes for the restaurant too”, says owner Robin Baird.
We have been selected to represent the “Exclusively Aberdeenshire” brand. They will celebrate the launch of the programme this year. This is an exciting opportunity for the artists, craftspeople and local food producers represented by the gallery and restaurant.
